African-American and Minority-Owned Business Support — Minneapolis, MN
In the aftermath of the tragic and senseless death of George Floyd , the Minneapolis metro area witnessed an unprecedented response. The ensuing riots and protests were aimed at ending systemic racial and social injustice to the African-American community. Civil unrest echoed through the streets of Minneapolis and beyond, and a number of local business – many of which are black or minority-owned – were looted, damaged or destroyed in the process, through no fault of their own. Ray Torres, CEO of Fenix Group – a manufacturer of products that transform, enhance and protect building materials and surfaces, has introduced an outreach program that aims to partner with a local black or minority-owned business that was impacted by these events by providing building supplies, labor and a support system. Ray’s vision is to leverage our products and team towards helping rebuild, restore, and regain prosperity to a negatively affected shop or business. If you know a local business owner in need of help, please reach out to Ray directly at Ray@fenixspc.com.

A Precious Child — Broomfield, CO
We believe every child deserves to grow up secure and self-reliant, and that they have the support they need to become a confident, contributing member of their community. A Precious Child envisions a future in which every child is offered this opportunity. They accomplish this by providing children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential. A Precious Child works with more than 450 agency partners throughout eight Denver Metro counties to identify children and families in the most need of our services. Fenix Brand, SureCrete, donated all materials and paid for the labor of a local contractor to redesign the interior floors at the A Precious Child facility.
